Dear Tourism Partner,

We hope everyone is having a great summer season, pent-up travel demand has continued as we see out-of-state license plates throughout our southeast Volusia area. As school starts and the Delta variant infections are on the increase, we face the challenge of a new, yet familiar hurdle of the past year and a half, as we strive for a full recovery that also prioritizes the health and safety, of our residents and visitors.

Our research results, through intercept surveys of our visitors, reflect how crucial it is that we remain vigilant on health and safety standards. Visitors are more inclined to enter and purchase from businesses continuing safety standards. This ranked very high on the qualities visitors are looking for when traveling. If you have not taken “The Pledge to Protect”, please consider doing so now. We will add this seal to your website listing that shows visitors that you are committed to keeping your staff and patrons safe. Please see below to learn more and sign up today.

You are cordially invited, to join our NSBVB team, on September 19, 2021, for National Beach Clean-Up Day.  We will be cleaning our “Adopted Beach” section and will send out more details, in the upcoming weeks, and we hope you can join us.

Lastly, we are finalizing our advertising cooperative programs for our new fiscal year starting on October 1, 2021. We have many exciting opportunities that we look forward to sharing with you in the September newsletter. These will be based on availability and look forward to having you advertise with us.

In the meantime, please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you, and please share your deals and specials with us, so we may promote them on our many marketing platforms.

We hope you have been staying healthy and safe and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Tourism Touches You,

Debbie Signature
