Happy summer! July is here, and with it comes a wave of visitors eager to enjoy the sunshine, our beautiful beaches, and the many experiences that make Southeast Volusia such a special place. Staycation Program is Live!
I’m excited to announce that our Southeast Volusia Staycation Program is officially underway! Running from July 7 through October 31, 2025, this initiative is designed to encourage locals and nearby visitors to experience the best of our region—from unique accommodations to dining, attractions, and outdoor adventures.
A huge thank you to the businesses that have already signed up to offer special deals and packages. If you haven’t yet joined, there’s still time! This is a fantastic opportunity to increase visibility and drive more traffic to your business. If you're interested in participating, please reach out to our team.
Peak Season & Visitor Engagement
With July being one of our busiest months, we expect higher hotel occupancy, increased restaurant traffic, and more activity across our outdoor spaces. This is a perfect time to capitalize on visitor engagement—whether through special promotions, enhanced guest experiences, or simply reinforcing what makes our community so welcoming.
As always, we encourage businesses to remind visitors about responsible tourism practices, including our Leave No Trace principles. Keeping our beaches clean, protecting wildlife, and respecting our natural spaces are key to ensuring that our destination remains pristine for future visitors.
Looking Ahead: Fall & Holiday Planning
While summer is in full swing, our team is already looking ahead to fall and winter tourism opportunities. From upcoming events to holiday promotions, there will be plenty of ways to keep visitors engaged beyond the summer months.
