As we step into the month of August, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude and appreciation for your unwavering dedication and hard work in making the New Smyrna Beach Area a premier destination for visitors from around the world and a cherished community for residents.
The Visitor’s Bureau has recently recertified the office through the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program and earned “DMAP with Distinction” by meeting all 100+ performance standards of best practices and having at least one standard where we were graded “Compliant Exemplary”, meaning the documentation submitted is truly outstanding and could be used to set the bar for the industry at large, and we met the 20 aspirational standards. We are proud to have achieved this high standard in our industry and thank you for your continued support.
I encourage you to continue showcasing the best of what our area has to offer. Whether it's through special promotions, check out our “Staycation” campaign where you can vacation in your own backyard! Save the Date for a unique dining experience in October, our Coastal Catch Restaurant Month will showcase over 15 area restaurants offering Pre-Fixe menus of $39 or $59 dollars, or engage in area attractions, we have an amazing Arts & Cultural scene. Your efforts are vital in enhancing the overall visitor and resident experience. Let's work together to provide exceptional service and unforgettable moments that will inspire our guests to return time and time again.
