Dear Tourism Partner,

As 2023 nears the end, reflecting and being thankful for all we have is essential. In a fast-paced world, taking a moment of reflection is always healthy.
 
I am thankful for the positive impact that tourism brings to our communities. Travel and exploration positively influence individuals and destinations and play a critical role in economic growth and development, particularly through the visitor economy. It creates jobs, supports local businesses, and generates community revenue. The tourism industry benefits those directly involved in hospitality and extends to sectors such as transportation, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment.
 
Tourism fosters cultural exchange by bringing together people from different backgrounds, allowing us this enriching interaction and promoting understanding and tolerance among diverse communities.
 
We look forward to working with all our partners in Southeast Volusia and beyond in the New Year and wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season and a New Year filled with Love, Happiness, and Health!
